SATURDAY 4TH AUGUST 2012.
On the fourth day of the sea days between Puntarenas and Los Angeles
the ship was required to call into the bay and resort town of Cabo San Lucas in
Mexico to off load two seriously ill passengers to the local hospital. These
passengers were tendered in by the local authorities, and whilst there we were
told that this resort town was apparently the most expensive in Mexico. We were
close in shore whilst these operations took place, which gave us a really good
view of the place. It has beautiful sandy beaches with stark, rocky and barren
hills and outcrops behind the resort areas. For this reason it is known locally
as the “Lands End” of Mexico.
I thought this was interesting enough to put on the Blog.
Hi Marilyn & Warwick,
ReplyDeleteLast communication for a while as we leave tomorrow and not taking my lap top. With all the people getting sick and being taken off the ship, you must nearly have it all to yourslf. Sounds like you've had a wonderful time and we look forward to catching up with when you get back. Enjoy the remainder of your holiday and we'll share a wine shortly.Love Sonia & Bob
